#ccstaycation Hannah from Saskatoon
29th Sep 2020
Hi, I'm Hannah! I wanted to join in on the #ccstaycation fun and tell you more about where I'm from – Saskatoon, SK, Canada. Saskatoon is the biggest city in Saskatchewan. It is located on the South Saskatchewan River. Saskatoon is known as the “City of Bridges” because of the 7 bridges spanning our river. It is also known as a university city, with the University of Saskatchewan located here.
Best Places to Eat
Moxie’s Grill and Bar - My favourite is the Alfredo
Fuddrucker’s – They have amazing burgers and shakes
Thien Vietnam – Great for dining out or delivery
Christies Bakery – Always fresh
Best Places to Visit
Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park & Zoo – They have a great light display at Christmas!
Saskatchewan Aviation Museum – for those like my brother who love the air
Nutrien Wonderhub – Used to be called the Children’s Development Museum – a good place for families with youngsters
Should also spend some time walking some of the many paths along the river, especially the Meewasin Trail and the paths near the Spadina area
Best Local Quilt Shops
Sew Special – Just discovered this place and it’s my new favourite! Great prices and friendly, helpful staff
