Introducing our newest Ambassador - Daisi Toegel

Meet Daisi Toegel!

Daisi has just joined us as our newest Classic box Ambassador! She was selected from a long list of talented and creative sewists.

How long have you been sewing?

I learned the theory of sewing in 2014/2015 but got my first sewing machine and actually started sewing in 2016.

How did you learn to sew?

I am self-taught, I learned everything on YouTube and sewing blogs.

What is your favorite thing to sew?

I absolutely love making quilt tops, but I first learned and developed my sewing skills by making bags, so that's another thing I love to make.

What is your favorite thing about sewing?

I love any possibility of creating something completely new and Sewing gives me that. It's wonderful to see the fabrics transforming to wonderful and exclusive items.

What is your favorite item you have ever sewn?

I have a crossbody bag that I designed the pattern and chose a Daisy flower fabric that I love. It's the right size of bag for any occasion and the fabric matches my name.

Share something interesting with us?

Besides sewing bags and making bag patterns I also sew a few garment items. About Quilting - I like quilting every single one of my quilts on my domestic machine because I believe it gives the work even more originality. I love crafting and watercolor, crochet, knitting and doodling are other hobbies that I do besides sewing.
