Soaring with Inspiration: Introducing the Cotton Cuts Flyway Ambassadors

 

You’ve taken the plunge, signing up for our next Puzzle Mystery Quilt, Flyway. It’s exciting. It’s fun. It’s such a great way to sew a complete quilt top together with all of the cutting done for you, leaving you ready to sew away each month.

 

What are other Cotton Cuts detectives sewing? 

Did sewing enthusiasts out there pick the same colorway as you did? 

Are they as excited about their finished product as you are? 

Which colorway did they choose? How are these clues coming together? 

Did I sew it correctly? 

 These are all questions so many of our detectives have along the way. So we assemble a great team of people who can answer questions, provide guidance, and organize groups and communities to walk you through it all.

 A Cotton Cuts PMQ Ambassador is a passionate member of our community who helps inspire and support fellow makers on their Puzzle Mystery Quilt journey. These ambassadors share their experiences, offer tips, and showcase their progress to encourage creativity and connection. Our PMQ Ambassadors are here to help make your quilting adventure even more enjoyable!

Let’s introduce our Puzzle Mystery Quilt Ambassadors for Flyway.

 Ian the Off Kilter Crafter is a Cotton Cuts Ambassador staple. We cannot even imagine doing a Puzzle Mystery Quilt without him. For this PMQ, Ian relied on our Cotton Cuts detectives to choose his colorway. Voting took place as Flyway sign-ups opened and his colorway has been chosen. It's still a secret. So while we do not know yet which colorway Ian will sew, rest assured all will be revealed and you will love watching Ian sew his clue each month. Sean Ironmonger is The Guy Who Sews. And Sean is mixing it up this go-round as well. Sean thought it would be fun to let the Cotton Cuts team choose his colorway for him. A few more things to note regarding our Ambassadors....

• Not all of our colorways are represented by an Ambassador. (That would be A LOT!)
• The layout and instructions are different between the large and small options. Make sure you are following an Ambassador that is sewing the same size that you are.
• Our Ambassadors may provide videos, tutorials and photos for each month's clue. Check them out and find the Ambassador that is most helpful to you. You can still easily follow their instructions even if your colorway is different.
• Join our Cotton Cuts Fabric Facebook Group to see photos posted by our detectives. This can be helpful in finding your colorway if you need a visual in your fabrics.
• We all encourage you to reach out to Ambassadors with any questions you have along the way. They are here to help and will gladly walk you through any challenges you encounter.
