Fabrics:
I recommend quality, 100% cotton fabrics and batting. For the birch trees, you have the option to piece them or to use a solid fabric (see below under Yardage Requirements), make sure to follow instructions for the trees you choose. The pattern allows for directional prints on the background and solid trees, just be sure to pay careful attention when sewing! All fabrics are assumed to be 45" (114.3 cm) wide.
